This year the bands selection for the contest was the march 'The Middy' and Verdi's 'Force Of Destiny'. Held as usual in Lisburn's Island Civic Centre the band put on a good performance. The three bands in the grade 2 section finished within a very small margin. The band did pick up the Interpretation Prize under the direction of Chris Wright.
