Sunday 9th May brought the band onto the street twice. Our first engagement of the day was the Annual Battle of the Atlantic Service. The band once again provided musical support to the Royal Naval Association on this their annual parade and commemoration service. Each year the parade goes to All Saints Clooney Church of Ireland, where a wreath is laid during the service.
Later in the evening the band travelled the couple of miles to Newbuildings to lead the Royal Arch Purple Chapter for the first time in Newbuildings.
On the 13th June, the band returned to Newbuildings to lead Victoria LOL 1087 on their annual Church parade, to the Church of Ireland Centre in the village and back again.
On Saturday 19th June, the band paraded through Londonderry with the Walker Parent Club on their first Initiation Day. The parade formed up and left the old Waterside Health Centre and made its way through the City to the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall, where entertainment followed.
