The Band continued its long role of musical support to the Royal Naval Association on Sunday 14th June 2009. Following the Association's national conference held in the Maiden City on Saturday 13th. The Band led the parade on Sunday morning to St Columbs Cathedral for a Service of Thanksgiving.

Following the service the parade reformed on London Street before parading to the War Memorial at the Diamond where wreathes were laid before the parade was dismissed.

On the way to the Diamond a Salute was taken on Bishop Street by the Lord Leiutenant for Londonderry.
